Garbage disposal not working?  Turn on the switch and nothing happens?  If this is the case, you most likely have a clogged or jammed garbage disposal.

A jammed garbage disposal may seem like it’s going to be a costly thing to fix, but the good news is that you can likely fix the issue yourself in just a couple of minutes.

First off, you will want to get the allen wrench or hex key that came with your garbage disposal or one that fits your garbage disposal and enter it into the hole at the bottom of the canister.  Once you have inserted the key, turn the key until it begins to rotate fairly easy.

Once you have freed up the jam now you should click on the reset button.

This should have done the job and your garbage disposal should now be working!
